A Word from the Founder

 

Welcome!

 

Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. To give you a sense of where our company comes from - and where we are going - I have shared the fundamental beliefs and values that serve as the basis for our company below.

I believe that character development is the foundation for human fulfillment, and I strive to empower others to pursue significance over material success. 

 

I envision a world where enjoyment and fulfillment are prioritized over pleasure and instantaneous gratification, where people consistently do the right thing rather than the easy thing.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have met so many amazing people throughout my education, travels and work experiences over the years. I have had the privilege of living in 8 different Canadian cities, spanning from Nova Scotia to the Yukon, and have traveled to over 50 countries and approximately 140 cities on five continents. 

In addition to my professional experience listed below, some of my most treasured personal experiences include summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro (2014), biking the "World's most Dangerous Road" in Bolivia (2010), and attending Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire (1998-2000). 

My Interests are:

Meeting and learning about new people, positive psychology, education and sport

My values are:

Authenticity, personal development, freedom and helping others

With MentorU, I strive not only to pursue my own passions and uphold my values, but to help other people discover theirs.
